Juan Manuel Armijos is a bilingual, Los Angeles-based screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer, originally from Quito, Ecuador. For over six years, he has evaluated content for international studios such as the world-renowned Lionsgate. Early in his career, he was mentored by producer Rob Weston, and worked as his assistant on several projects, including Madness in the Method, starring Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob), and the legendary Stan Lee. He has collaborated with director Jason Strickland in the development and production of many projects, including the upcoming stunt documentary, 2nd Unit: Invisible Action Stars, starring Keanu Reeves, James Cameron, Halle Berry, Zoe Saldana, and many more. Most recently, he produced the upcoming feature, The Friendly, starring Joe Mantegna and Casey Deidrick, portraying the journey of a soldier with PTSD and the dog that saves him. He also wrote the highly anticipated biopic, Victor, depicting the astounding survival story of legendary boxer, Victor Ortiz.
